Jeannie: Registered Dental Hygienist
Jeannie has been an integral part our team for the past 3 years. She earned her�degree from the Temple College School of Dental Hygiene where she received the prestigious Colgate Student Total Achievement Award.� She takes pride in connecting with patients by listening to them first, identifying their individual oral health goals, and then providing them with tools and encouragement to help them reach their goals. Patients find her approach to be a refreshing change from the old �guilt-based� dental hygiene model. Patients continually compliment her on her�gentle touch and genuinely caring personality.
Jeannie�spends a significant amount of her free time attending Continuing Education courses to obtain the most up-to-date knowledge on Periodontal Therapy�and Dental Implants. She also volunteers her time�with the Texas Dental Hygienists' Association's Sealants Across Texas program.
�When she�s not �talking teeth,��Jeannie enjoys live music and a multitude of outdoor activities with her husband, Travis, and their two�teenage sons.
Margie: Registered Dental Assistant
Margie has been Dr. Shah�s chairside assistant for 6 years. She has worked in dentistry for 25 years and has even spent time working at the front desk. She truly enjoys helping Dr. Shah improve people�s smiles and quality of life. Her positive attitude, sense of humor, and ability to help patients feel comfortable is what patients know her by. She is well-versed in the areas of cosmetic and implant dentistry.
Originally from Albuquerque, NM, she and her husband Randy moved to Austin 35 years ago. She enjoys spending time with her two kids, Candace and Patrick, and also can be found sailing Lake Travis, playing Bunco, and volunteering with Mobile Fish and Loaves.
